Bjork’s New album, The soundtrack for Matthew Barney’s “Drawing Restraint 9″ is due this monday”. Ive got a Peak into this album, and must say that it is growing on me.
The track refered to as “Storm” on the track listing is none other than the famous “Nameless” track, featuring Ms B’s Beautiful Howl’s, and is a must listen for anyone who’s been awaiting a commercial release of this great song.
The first track on the cd, “Gratitude”, has a wonderful beat, accompanied by an english translation of a Japanese Citizen thanking General MacArthur for lifting the U.S. moratorium on whaling off the nation’s coasts.
Also notable is the beat of the third track, “Ambergris March”, which is simply enchanting.
This album is a must pickup for anyone who enjoys classical work as well as bjork fans everywhere. You can order it directly from One little Indian UK.
